PARTICIPATION TERMS
TERMS OF REGISTRATION
Effective August 13, 2026
These terms govern registrations and participation in events operated by The Hardwood Circuit LLC.
Captain authority
The registering captain confirms that they are authorized to act for the team, provide accurate contact and roster information, communicate event requirements to players, and obtain required waivers before participation.
Confirmation and capacity
A submitted form or opening-list entry is not a reservation. A team is confirmed only after full payment is accepted and written confirmation is issued. Capacity is determined by completed payment order, subject to fraud, duplicate, eligibility, and administrative review.
Participant requirements
Teams and players must follow published rules, deadlines, facility policies, sportsmanship standards, and staff directions. The Hardwood Circuit LLC may remove a person or team for unsafe, abusive, fraudulent, or materially disruptive conduct without refund.
Schedule changes
Game times, courts, opponents, format details, and event operations may change when reasonably necessary. Captains are responsible for monitoring official communications and the website.
Risk and waivers
Basketball involves physical contact and risk of injury. Every player must complete the required participant waiver before playing. Registration by a captain does not replace an individual player's waiver.
Communications
Operational emails concerning registration, payment, schedules, safety, waivers, and event changes are necessary service communications. Optional marketing messages may be declined or unsubscribed from separately.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Hardwood Circuit LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Nebraska law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
